Overview

8-Bit Cupid (operated by Opinionated Panda Private Limited) allows you to create personalized retro pixel-art games. Creating drafts, previewing, and playing demos is completely free. A one-time payment of ₹199 (INR) is required only when you choose to publish a game and generate a shareable link.

Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable.

Since 8-Bit Cupid delivers a digital product — a published game with a shareable link that is immediately accessible upon payment — refunds are generally not available. The game is delivered instantly after a successful payment, and the shareable link is active right away.

We encourage you to use the free preview feature (with watermark) to fully review your game before paying to publish. This ensures you are satisfied with the game content and experience before making a purchase.

Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, we may consider a refund request. These include but are not limited to:

• A technical issue on our end that prevents the game from being published or accessed after payment
• A duplicate payment made in error for the same game
• A payment that was processed but the game was not delivered

Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We aim to be fair and reasonable in all reviews.

Cancellations

You may delete a draft game at any time before publishing at no cost.

You may also delete a published game at any time from your dashboard. However, deleting a published game does not entitle you to a refund, as the digital product was already delivered.

There is no subscription or recurring billing. Each payment is a one-time charge per game, so there is nothing to cancel on an ongoing basis.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under the exceptional circumstances listed above, please email us at:

Include the following in your email:

• Your registered email address
• The transaction/payment ID (from your payment confirmation)
• The game name or ID
• A description of the issue

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3-5 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method via Cashfree within 5-7 business days.

Payment Processor

All payments are securely processed by Cashfree. We do not store any payment card or banking details. For payment-related disputes, you may also contact Cashfree directly, though we recommend reaching out to us first at support@8bitcupid.com.
